Sarginson family

The above chart shows just my grandfather George and three generations of his ancestors. I do though have information about some of my others ancestors if you wish to get in touch with me. Also I am continuing my research and writing stories about my ancestors as I come across them. So far in this section of my site you can use the above drop down menu to find out more about the following people:

John Sarginson 1802-1786 – lived in Howden and is my four times great grandfather.

Thomas King 1813-possibly 1882 – lived in Howden until he was transported to Tasmania and is my fourth great uncle.

Elias Sargeantson 1778-1812 – lived in Eastrington until his death on a prison hulk ship moored at Portsmouth and is my five times great grandfather.

George Tomlinson 1759-1851 – lived in Riccall and is my five times great grandfather.

William Tomlinson 1755-1825 – lived in Riccall and is George’s brother and my sixth great uncle.

Harold Foster 1879-1907 – lived in Monk Fryston and is my first cousin three times removed.

Thomas Edward Foster 1879-1954 – lived in Monk Fryston and is my first cousin three times removed.

John Silversides 1790-1857 – lived in Wilberfoss and is my first cousin six times removed.

Rebecca Allison 1834-1909 – married three times and is my first cousin four times removed.

As well as researching my own branch of the Sarginsons I am also carrying out a one name study into this surname.

Note: I have BMD, census and references for all the information provided in each story. Do let me know if you would like to know more.
